Statistics for freshmen who entered in Fall 2007
The PS Program uses a variety of criteria to make decisions, as there is no single cut-off or minimum, other than the application date.

The Admissions office converts ACT scores to SAT scores. Either is acceptable.

93% of the semifinalists were taking the most difficult coursework available.
Both the Leadership and Activity Record and the Personal Statement are weighted heavily in the PS selection process. Most semifinalists had either element judged as well above the average of the PS applicant pool. Few applicants were chosen as semifinalists who had both elements judged as average or below.
