Retreat Overview
Each year just before the beginning of the fall semester, incoming PS's are taken to Unicoi State Park for a retreat. This trip is an incredible experience to get to know other incredible PS's both in your year and upperclassmen before you actually get to college. In addition, you'll start to learn more about yourself, be prepared for your transition to Tech, and learn what it means to be a President's Scholar!
Why the Fall Retreat is so GREAT:
• Jump-start college, with the help of 83 quality individuals.
• Start building relationships with your potentially lifelong friends.
• Experience some fresh air, exciting hikes, outdoor activities and games.
• Create a network of study partners. Many of these people will be in your
classes and project groups throughout your time at Tech.
• Befriend the Fall Retreat leaders who will become valuable resources and
show you the ropes so that you will thrive at Georgia Tech.
• Become familiar with North Georgia, which could be a spring break or fall
break vacation spot.
• It's just plain FUN!!
